Help & Contact

Help with Stundee.

Keep track of your teaching: manage students and groups, plan lessons and record what you have worked on.

Frequently asked questions

How do I get started?

Open the Students tab and tap Plus. Select a contact, create a new one or enter a name manually. Then set the lesson time and weekday.

In Timetable, tap a name to open the lesson notes. Tap the time to edit the lesson. The landscape weekly view gives you an overview of your teaching week.

How do I manage a group?

Select several students when creating a lesson and give the group a name. This name appears in the timetable. You can add or remove participants later.

Removing someone from a group is different from deleting their student record. Before deleting, check which student or group is selected.

How does iCloud sync work?

Use the same Apple Account on your iPhone and iPad and allow Stundee to use iCloud. Lessons, students, groups, colours and lesson notes are synchronised through your private iCloud storage.

Both devices need an internet connection. If a change is missing, open Stundee on both devices and check iCloud, available storage and the connection. Transfers may be delayed; instant sync is not guaranteed.

iCloud is not a separate backup. Changes and deletions can also sync to your other devices.

How do I back up or print my timetable?

Open the transfer button at the top. Export weekly view as PDF creates a printable weekly overview. Export backup saves the app data for a later import.

A PDF is not a data backup. Store backup files securely: they may contain names, contact details and lesson notes. Do not send them to support without prior agreement.

What does the Apple Watch show?

The Watch app receives the timetable from the paired iPhone. During a lesson it shows the remaining time, followed by the next lesson and its start time.

If lessons are missing, check that Stundee is installed on both the iPhone and Watch and that the devices are connected. When the display is dimmed, watchOS may limit updates and show a less precise remaining time.

How do contacts, messages and absences work?

The phone, message and mail buttons prepare calls or messages. A group or a selection of weekdays may include several recipients. Check the recipient list before sending. For emails to multiple recipients, Stundee puts the addresses in Bcc.

Student absence – Add to calendar opens an editable event with the name and lesson time. A lesson today is proposed for today if its start is at least one minute away; otherwise the next occurrence of that weekday is used. You confirm saving or sending in the relevant system window.

What is free and what does Pro offer?

You can use Stundee for free with up to 5 individual students. Group participants count individually. Pro removes this student limit through a one-time in-app purchase, with no subscription.

The app shows the price applicable to you before purchase. Apple handles payment and activation. Reaching the limit does not automatically delete existing data.

How do I restore Pro or redeem a code?

Open Options → Pro → Restore purchases. Use the same Apple Account under Media & Purchases as for the original purchase and connect to the internet. Do not buy again immediately if activation is temporarily missing.

If you have received a free code, use Redeem free code in the Pro section to redeem it with Apple. Apple checks its validity. Pro and iCloud storage are separate; the purchase does not include additional iCloud storage.

Can I change the language?

Choose Deutsch or English under Options → Languages. The choice is saved on each device. Names and the lesson notes you write are not translated.

Apple system dialogs may still use the device language.
